How to fund your wallet

Every user gets a personal virtual account number. You fund your wallet by sending money to that number from any bank app or USSD code. No card is needed.

Steps

1. Log in to the app. Your account number and the bank name are shown on the blue balance card on the home screen.
2. Open your own bank app (or dial your bank's USSD code) and choose transfer.
3. Enter the account number shown in the app and select the bank name shown beside it.
4. Check that the account name makes sense, enter the amount and confirm the transfer.
5. Once the payment is confirmed by our payment provider, your wallet balance is updated.

Good to know

• You can hide or show your balance with the eye icon on the balance card.
• Only send money to the account number shown inside your own logged-in app. We never ask you to pay into a personal account over chat.
• If your wallet is not updated after a reasonable time, contact customer care on WhatsApp with your transfer receipt.
• Check the app for any charges before you transfer.
